High-speed trains link Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, and free days in Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent leave time to explore at your own pace.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Tashkent

Meet your driver at Tashkent International Airport and transfer to the hotel to rest after the flight.

Day 2
Tashkent to Margilan

Drive through the Fergana Valley to Margilan. Check in and rest after the journey.

Day 3
Margilan and Rishtan

In Margilan, the Yodgorlik silk factory, the local bazaar and traditional silk production. Continue to Rishtan to visit a ceramic master's workshop and learn about the region's blue-glazed pottery. Return to Margilan.

Day 4
Fergana Valley and return to Tashkent

More of the Fergana Valley, such as Kokand, Fergana city or other craft workshops, depending on the route. In the afternoon, drive back to Tashkent.

Day 5
High-speed train to Samarkand

Early train to Samarkand and sightseeing before check-in: Registan Square, the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum and other highlights. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 6
Samarkand sightseeing

The Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Siyob Bazaar, the Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis and the Ulugh Beg Observatory, with lunch at a local restaurant. Free afternoon.

Day 7
Shakhrisabz day trip

Drive over the scenic Takhtakaracha pass to Shakhrisabz: the Ak-Saray Palace ruins, the Dorut Tilovat complex, the Kok Gumbaz Mosque and the Dorus Saodat complex. Back in Samarkand by late afternoon.

Day 8
Free day in Samarkand

Rest, explore the old city, visit cafés, shop for souvenirs or join optional activities.

Day 9
Samarkand to Bukhara via Gijduvan

On the way to Bukhara, stop in Gijduvan to visit a ceramic workshop, meet the masters and have lunch. Arrive in Bukhara in the afternoon.

Day 10
Bukhara old town

A half-day walking tour: the Lyab-i Hauz ensemble, Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah, the Magoki Attori Mosque, the trading domes, the Kalyan Minaret and Mosque, and Mir-i-Arab Madrasah. Free afternoon.

Day 11
Bukhara sightseeing

The Ark Fortress, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Samanid Mausoleum and the Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. Free afternoon.

Day 12
Around Bukhara

The Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa summer palace, the Bahauddin Naqshband complex and the Chor Bakr Necropolis. Free afternoon.

Day 13
Free day in Bukhara

Relax, walk the old town, shop, visit cafés or explore on your own.

Day 14
High-speed train to Tashkent

Free morning in Bukhara, then the afternoon train to Tashkent and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15
Tashkent sightseeing

The Khast Imam complex, Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square, Amir Timur Square and the Tashkent Metro stations.

Day 16
Departure

Free time depending on your flight, then transfer to Tashkent International Airport.
