Tour Guide
Description
Three sights just outside Bukhara that many visitors miss. Sitorai Mohi-Xosa, the summer palace of the last emirs, mixes European and Bukharan styles in a riot of painted ceilings, stained glass and mirror halls.
Then two very different holy places: the memorial complex of Bahauddin Naqshband, founder of one of the most important Sufi orders and a major place of pilgrimage, and Chor-Bakr, a quiet necropolis of courtyards, mosques and family tombs. A good half-day, easily combined with the Bukhara city tour.
Not included: entrance fees and lunch. Please dress modestly for the shrines. For groups of more than 10 people, please contact us.
