Description
Swap the city for fresh mountain air. In about an hour and a half from Tashkent the road climbs into the Western Tien Shan, to the Amirsoy resort, the slopes of Chimgan and the turquoise Charvak Reservoir. It is a favourite escape for locals in every season: green valleys and lake views in summer, snow and skiing in winter.
Ride the gondola at Amirsoy for views over the ridges, take the chairlift or a horse ride at Chimgan, then relax by the lake before driving back in the evening. The pace is up to you, and the driver stops wherever you want a photo. A guide can be added for $40 per group.
Not included: gondola, chairlift and horse-riding tickets, beach or park entrance fees, and lunch. Mountain weather changes quickly, so bring a warm layer even in summer. For groups of more than 10 people, please contact us.
Itinerary
Your driver meets you at your hotel in the morning.
A modern all-season resort in the mountains. Take the gondola up for wide views of the peaks, walk the viewpoints, or ski in winter.
Meadows, streams and the rocky summit of Big Chimgan (3,309 m). Ride the chairlift, try horse riding or take a short walk.
A lake of turquoise water ringed by mountains. Stop at the viewpoints, have lunch by the water and, in summer, swim from one of the beaches.
Back at your hotel in the early evening.
