Stop 1
Meet your guide at the hotel

Registan Square

The heart of Samarkand, framed by three majestic madrasahs: Ulugh Beg, built by Timur's grandson as a centre of learning; Sher-Dor, with its famous lion mosaics; and Tilla-Kari, rich in gold decoration.
